North Scottsdale Auto Service

This repair shop wrote-the-book on customer service and quality! Could you imagine my husband and my predicament, at the end of our vacation in Scottsdale.

First, the truck’s fuel pump quit at 5PM on a Saturday night (at the Scottsdale doggy day care parking lot as we picked up our dog). The date was May 27, 2017, and that Saturday night was in the middle of the Memorial Day weekend. We started calling towing services, and learned few repair shops or parts stores were open for the next two days so we couldn’t even have a towing service take the truck to a repair shop.

Then I found an ad on-line for a tow-and-repair emergency automotive service with a five star rating. I called Steve at North Scottsdale Auto Service and he sent a tow truck, did a diagnostic evaluation to identify the mechanical problem, located the part for that night, and then presented a written formal estimate in advance. The estimate was fair and reasonable for after-hours work so we agreed with the price.

Steve made sure we had a ride to our hotel on uber, and worked until 9PM that Saturday night (3 more hours) to complete the repair. Steve picked-us-up at our hotel when the truck was ready.

Steve was so kind and they even made sure our doggy was comfortable during this entire ordeal. WOW!!!! We found ourselves driving home the next morning, a Sunday drive to New Mexico as planned (instead of waiting until the Tuesday when repair shops opened after the long holiday) to put us on their schedule for the week.

Steve has a great business model, and we certainly would give him an excellent five star rating out of a five star maximum.
