  • When tires are 4/32nds or less in tread depth
  • Aged more than 4-years old on the manufacturers date code being driven in the hot Arizona summers
  • If the tires have over 50,000 miles

If any of your vehicle tires meet any of the above three criteria for replacement, your vehicle tires should be replaced with a brand new tire and/or complete set as well as having the vehicle re-aligned. NITROGEN ( N2 ) GAS

Some of the questions and answers about nitrogen tire inflation include the simple fact that Nitrogen provides more consistent tire pressure for better handling, enhanced safety and longer tire life.

Using ( N2 ) Nitrogen in your tires pays for itself in no time when you factor in better fuel economy and fewer tire purchases.

Many people ask what is Nitrogen?

Nitrogen is an inert, dry, non-flammable gas that’s all around us. The air we breathe is 78% Nitrogen, 21% Oxygen and small amounts of other gasses. For tire inflation, there is nothing better than Nitrogen. With proper tire pressure, your vehicle will have lower rolling resistance and maximize fuel efficiency.

Safety and reliability are a major concern of all vehicle owners. Under inflated tires cause 90% of blowouts. Nitrogen provides more reliable pressure for reduced blowout potential. Proper tire inflation ensures the proper contact patch of your tire on the road.

With longer tire life, under inflated tires wear out quickly on the shoulders while over inflated tires wear in the center. In addition, removing oxygen eliminates oxidation and condensation that can damage inner Liners, steel belts and rims.

Nitrogen is better for the environment. Anything that improves fuel efficiency and reduces toxic emissions is good for the environment, and Nitrogen in your tires can help.

With our lifetime service on your initial appointment to have Nitrogen installed in your vehicle, if you find yourself in need of air, simply add air wherever you are and on your next visit to North Scottsdale Auto Service llc, our Nitrogen technician will simply purge and refill your tire with new Nitrogen at no additional charge to you.
